In the week beginning 19 July we will begin to extend our service. However, due to operational issues we are not yet able to reopen fully.

Local Studies Library

The Local Studies Library will be open for browsing and use of reference materials:

Thursday: 10.00-11.30 and 2.00-3.30

Friday: 10.00-11.30 and 2.00-3.30

It is not necessary to make an appointment. For details on how the Library will operate please see Using the Local Studies Library.

Public computers

Computers will be available for pre-booked appointments only:

Thursday: 10.00-11.30 and 2.00-3.30

Friday: 10.00-11.30 and 2.00-3.30

Searchroom

The searchroom will be open for pre-booked appointments only:

Wednesday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00 – City and Local Studies material only

Thursday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00 – City, University and Local Studies material

Friday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00 – City, University and Local Studies material

Select and Collect

Books reserved through our Select and Collect Service can be picked up from and returned to the History Centre by appointment during the following timeslots:

Wednesday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00

Thursday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00

Friday: 10.00-12.00 and 2.00-4.00
