November's lunchtime talk at Hull History Centre will feature updates on the work being undertaken on the Second World War collections. Victoria Oxberry, the Second World War Project Archivist and Carol Tanner, the centre's Collections and Access Manager will be giving an insight in to the work that has been carried out to date on archives which cover a range of areas from civil defence personnel cards and war damage records to gallantry awards and victory celebrations.

The talk, which will be from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, on Tuesday, November 13, will reveal some of the findings so far in this first phase of the cataloguing work. Collections and Access Manager, Carol Tanner, said: "The talk will detail some of the work carried out so far by staff and volunteers which when released will provide a wealth of information for people researching the city's history as well as those researching members of their family."
