Our Cookery Club has been re-launched as History
Bakers. We have been trying out some of the wonderful recipes in
our collections which include records from estate house kitchens
and Hull housewives. One staff member a month recreates one of
these historical recipes and brings it in to be critiqued by the
rest of us.
Why not have a go yourself? Every month we’ll
upload the original recipe and a transcript along with some photos
and our comments on our blog. Once you’ve had a go, email your own
photos and comments to email@example.com
and put History Bakers in the subject box.
